Research
We develop foundational work in temporal reasoning, multimodal representation, and agentic control. Our production systems deliver cutting‑edge AI that genuinely improves over time. The loop between research and deployment is the structure of the company.
We introduced Continuity Models as our core research paradigm for multimodal reasoning models and systems. "Continuity models" because these models maintain continuity — temporal, logical, operational. The term has a double meaning — temporal continuity as the mechanism, logical continuity as the outcome.
We focus on temporal continuity because we believe it is the path to true logical continuity in models. Many current models can develop odd correlations; forcing models to generalize semantic encodings across time exposes them to enough contextual variance to temper spurious correlations without detaching from meaningful ones, similar to how human cognition and associative thinking develop in time-rich environments, not only spatial vastness.
We design models and systems together. Continuity Models defines the reasoning substrate, and deployed products pressure-test that substrate in live workflows.
Products
We are building the AI-native OS as a system of intelligent environments. Studio and Base are the first two products in that system: one for multimedia creation and distribution, one for files, documents, code, and agent-driven work.
Studio is the creation and distribution environment. Base is the universal workspace layer. Both run on the same continuity stack, so improvements in research transfer directly to product behavior.
Rkive Studio is a content creation suite that autonomously edits photos and videos, writes captions, schedules, posts, and runs analytics — even on full autopilot from your camera roll, with prompt and manual control always in sync.
Rkive Base is a workspace hub where local files, cloud storage, and the web are browsed as one surface; files in any format — including code — are edited with full-context reasoning across entire projects, and AI agents execute tasks proactively with your approval.
Founder
Alberto Luengo is the founder and CEO of Rkive. His background spans neurophysiology, medical imaging, and multimedia systems engineering — the disciplines that converge on building AI that reasons reliably across time-based media at scale.
