The role

💼 Own infra and deployments, with a coder’s eye.
You’ll keep our systems fast, secure, and resilient while being able to touch the code when needed.

• Automation first: CI/CD, testing suites, chaos drills.
• Security lead: IAM, hardening, scans, compliance.
• Distributed systems: Prevent race conditions, optimize worker/job coordination.
• Backend-aware: Improve DynamoDB queries, optimize pipelines, fix scaling pain points.
• Infra-as-code: Terraform/CDK, AWS everything.
• Future-proofing: GPU farms, vector DB infra, scaling AI services.

What you’ll do

⚙️ Make us unbreakable.
Ship fast without breaking, and keep us secure while scaling.

• AWS Ops: EC2, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, DataDog, monitoring.
• CI/CD: Extend GitHub Actions, automated tests, canary + blue/green deploys.
• Code-level fixes: Concurrency, queues, DB throughput, worker orchestration.
• Monitoring: Dashboards, logs, alerts.
• Testing: Automated pipelines to catch regressions.
• Security: Harden infra, enforce least privilege, run audits.

How you’ll do it

🧠 Automate + code = happy infra.
You won’t just babysit AWS consoles — you’ll script, code, and design.

• Infra-as-code: Terraform, AWS CDK.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes/Helm.
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, DataDog.
• Collaboration: Pair with backend + AI devs, not just ops.
