The role
💼 You’ll own cultural marketing and partnerships.
Your job is to make sure Rkive shows up in the right rooms, media, and collabs — building the brand’s cultural footprint.
- Press & media: Pitch magazines, podcasts, and journalists.
- Events: Get us into the right conferences, panels, and cultural happenings.
- Shoots: Coordinate brand shoots, founder profiles, and ambassador features.
- Collabs: Broker partnerships with influencers, artists, and creators.
- Intel: Feed back cultural trends and opportunities into the growth + product loop.
What you’ll do
🧠 Turn presence into perception.
Translate our vision and activity into cultural relevance and media coverage.
- Media relations: Cold-email and manage journalists, stylists, photographers.
- Partnerships: Secure collabs and cross-promos with relevant names.
- Events & activations: Organize pop-ups, shoots, or talks that position Rkive.
- Founder PR: Support the CEO’s image with appearances, interviews, and profiles.
- Cross-team: Work hand-in-hand with the Head of Growth to maximize distribution.
How you’ll do it
🧠 Move fast, be scrappy.
Relationships, hustle, and taste matter more than big budgets.
- Scrappy PR: Cold emails, DMs, intros — whatever works.
- Network: Tap photographers, stylists, and culture insiders for leads.
- Taste: Position Rkive with good aesthetics and credibility.
- Collaboration: Work directly with the founder and growth lead.
- Tools: Email, Instagram/TikTok DMs, Notion, Airtable.
Who you are
💍 We want true love, not a marriage of convenience.
You’ve already hustled in PR, talent, or cultural marketing and want to own something.
- Background: Ex-agent, PR assistant, comms coordinator, fashion/music PR.
- Connector: You know how to get into shoots, events, and features.
- Hungry: Underpaid before, now want to run your own lane.
- Resourceful: You’ll wrangle creatives and press with limited budget.
- Ambitious: You want to grow into global brand leadership.
