The role
You will own cultural marketing and partnerships end-to-end.
Your mandate is to ensure Rkive appears in the right rooms, media, and collaborations — building a brand that matches the ambition of what we are creating.
- Press & media: Secure coverage in publications, podcasts, and with journalists that matter.
- Events: Position us at the right conferences, panels, and industry moments.
- Shoots & content: Coordinate brand shoots, founder profiles, and ambassador features.
- Partnerships: Broker strategic collaborations with creators, artists, and relevant brands.
- Market intelligence: Feed cultural trends and opportunities back into the growth and product teams.
What you will do
Translate our work into cultural relevance and market positioning.
You are the bridge between what we build and how the world perceives us.
- Media relations: Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and producers.
- Partnerships: Negotiate and execute collaborations and cross-promotions with high-value partners.
- Events & activations: Organize or secure presence at events, panels, and activations that position Rkive.
- Founder PR: Support the CEO's public presence — appearances, interviews, and media profiles.
- Cross-functional: Work closely with the Head of Growth to amplify distribution and reach.
How you will do it
Relationships, resourcefulness, and taste over budget.
We do not outspend — we outmanoeuvre.
- Direct outreach: Cold emails, DMs, warm intros — whatever opens the door.
- Network leverage: Tap photographers, stylists, producers, and culture insiders.
- Brand sensibility: Position Rkive with credibility and strong aesthetics.
- Close collaboration: Work directly with the founder and growth lead.
- Tools: Email, social DMs, Notion, Airtable, CRM.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who has done this before and wants to own the function entirely.
This role is for operators, not observers.
- Background: PR, talent management, comms, cultural marketing, or agency-side brand work.
- Connected: You know how to get into the rooms — shoots, press, features, events.
- Driven: You are not looking for comfort. You want to build something significant.
- Resourceful: You deliver results without relying on large budgets.
- Ambitious: You see this as a path to global brand leadership.
